At Toso & Jura we love ceramic art from Europe, primarily Mid-century Modern (MCM) pieces from Italy and France.
Our favorite Italian vintage ceramic makers are Bitossi, Alvino Bagni, Italica Ars, Ugo Zaccagnini, Bertoncello and Gli Etruschi, among many others.
In France we love Accolay who became famous when Christian Dior placed an order for ceramic buttons for some of their fashion designs. We also like many of the French ceramicists in the Vallauris region, Picasso teamed up with L’atelier Madoura to make his ceramic creations there.
