Handcrafted iron cat that we purchased in Zurich, it is extremely well-made but we are not absolutely certain where it was fabricated. Initially we found a German antique seller offering a very similar cat design that they claimed was a French-made Art Deco piece but we were definitely not convinced as there are no marks or signatures.

Later we found another reference from a well-respected Japanese antique dealer that this cat is was probably made near Osaka which we believe is more than likely the correct attribution but we offer the cat with an unknown provenance.
