Ellis Singano

Ellis has long been known as one of the most talented visual artists working in Malawi. He is a specialist in making batik artwork but Toso&Jura is fortunate to also own his acrylic on canvas paintings as well. Overall we own more than 20 pieces of his work.

We have known Ellis for a few years now and had a fantastic experience visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site at the famous Chongoni Rock Art Area in Central Malawi when we drove together from Blantyre to Lilongwe 2 years ago to meet several of his artist friends.

Mr Singano is also a teacher / philanthropist who is generous with his time and willing to share his skills with disadvantaged youth looking to get ahead in life.
