There are several artists with quite similar names in Burma (Myanmar) but it is fairly easy to recognise this artist’s work because it features heavy oil paint applied with a palette knife. I met the artist in his studio in 2025 and from my understanding he grew up in the Rangoon (Yangon) area and is now in his fifties. He is self taught and was obviously quite productive as he had many works available. He is the only Asian artist featured in our collection but like many African artists, he employs bright bold colors in most of his work. He is also represented by the well-respected Merlin Gallery in Singapore.
Toso&Jura acquired six of his works (below) which he describes as Contemporary Impressionist
